Kelly Arnold, Greenhouse Manager

Oversees plant propagation, inventorying, and all plant shipping at the Great Bear greenhouse

B.S. Land Resources Analysis and Management, Minor Range Management, Montana State University - Bozeman

Kelly has worked throughout MT monitoring, analyzing, and studying native plants for both government and state agencies.

Outside of work, Kelly tears up the back country roads with her son and husband
Mike Thomas, Technical Sales – Reclamation

Lead on reclamation and restoration projects

Mike has over 20 years experience in forest and restoration planting; in-depth knowledge of native plant production and native plant community restoration; experience with permit compliance, remote site project management, mining and mineral exploration operations

Mike's passion and curse is wetland plant ID- sometimes to the chagrin of the rest of the team.
Jeanne Montplaisir, Seeds Manager and Horticultural Professional

Collects, treats and germinates seed, maintains seed inventory

Jeanne has more than 20 years experience as a horticultural professional both in the nursery and seed collection

Jeanne can often be identified by the amount of seed chaff in her hair and her expertise in converting metric to imperial, and vice versa.
Aimee Kelley, Great Bear Native Plants Sales and Horticulture

Oversees nursery and landscaping sales in addition to working hands on with the products she sells

Before this post, Aimee studied post-fire ecology, noxious weed management, and threatened and endangered plants in Northern California, Montana, Idaho, and Florida

When she is not at the greenhouse, she is probably on a misadventure.
Casey Galloway, Horticulture and Project Management

Manages repairs, fills pots, maintains plants, aids in shipping and delivery.

Casey has 12 years experience in landscape and nursery operations and management.

In his spare time, Casey experiments with permaculture. He also, always finds the best not-on-the-radio music
Tricia Scanlon, Plant Maintenance Specialist

Tricia is involved in every step of growing our plants from filling pots, sowing, maintaining plants, to shipping and delivery.
